That dialog is ridiculous; you would never, ever get a conversation like that. I've rewritten it thus:

Waiter: Hello. What can I get you today?
Client: Hello; we would like two meals, please.
Client's son: I want fish and chips!
Client: OK, so can we have some fish and chips, and piece of pie, please?
Waiter: Certainly. And to drink?
Client: An orange juice for my son and I think I'll have a red wine.
Waiter: Will you be having dessert?
Client: Yes, strawberry ice cream and a rice pudding, please.
Waiter: All right, is there anything else I can do for you?
Client: Yes: where's the bathroom please?
Waiter: At the end of the hallway sir.
Client: Thank you.
